"Chris Crouch from Earth First Excavation Inc. recently completed installation of rockeries for us. We had a problem sloped area which we didn't know how to handle. He came up with a solution which was aesthetically pleasing and cost effective.
He exceeded all of our expectations. He was courteous knowledgeable and professional. He arrived on site as planned and completed the work in the time he promised and within the estimate. Great care was taken to protect our concrete driveway whilst he was using his digger and loader and he cleaned the area after completion.

"We recently completed two projects through Earth First Excavation and have been overwhelmingly pleased with the results. The first was the creation of a large boulder/rock garden at our entry and along our driveway and the second was the re-grading and landscape preparation of a large front and side yard and the installation of an ADA compliant garden pathway around most of the property of 1.5 acres.
Chris and his workers took great care in consideration of each of these projects, working with our Landscape Designer and building contractor and in selection of materials and equipment to complete the projects.
The results are stunning.
Both projects came in on budget, on time and with absolutely no damage to the surrounding landscape, driveways or walkways which were newly created during the summer and early fall.

"We've been lucky enough to work with Chris on two projects- driveway/rockery grading issue and an entire backyard transformation. He is a true artist! Our rough ideas became an oasis thanks to his improvements, suggestions, and talent placing each boulder, riser, patio, and landscape beds. His experience gave us the backyard we dreamed about! His crew is so friendly, respectful and hardworking. No hesitation to recommend and use them again!"

"I had hired another contractor to build a two rock walls. He came and just randomly placed rocks and said that was what I would get. After some "discussion", we parted ways.
I contacted Chris and asked if he could salvage the job. He came out, looked at the existing work, and said he could fix it with the rock already on site.
He and his helper showed up promptly when he said they would, carefully went over what I wanted, and then went to work. They removed the first contractors poor attempt at a rock wall, and then skillfully constructed what I would call works of art. They then hauled in 13 yards of gravel to repair the driveway that had been disrupted during the rock work. And finally they placed the left over boulders at the edge of a parking pad to allow me to expand the pad. When they left, it looked like no one was ever here, except for two new excellent rock walls, and a crisp new driveway.
I am very particular when it comes to someone else doing work for me, on my land or my house. I have high expectations. I would not hesitate to recommend Chris for any kind of earth work. He is a true professional, a gentleman, and a craftsman who takes pride in his work."

"Chris Crouch, Owner and Operator of EarthFirst Excavation Inc. is a wonderful person to work with. He is highly skilled, punctual, kind and courteous.
I called Chris and he immediately returned my call. We setup an appointment to come and give me a bid for the removal of shrubs and take to the recycle. He also removed all the sod on three of the front yard areas. I was amazed how skilled he is in the removal of the selected shrubs and the sod and how well he cleaned the areas. He truly is a professional and very skilled at what he does.
Chris then brought in premium topsoil for the new planting beds and about 15 two – three man boulders. He skillfully placed them in the three areas as accent rocks. I am very pleased with his work as is the landscape architect I am working with.
I highly recommend Chris to do excavation, placement of boulders and building of berms with the topsoil. Once again he was a pleasure to work with and he comes with my highest recommendation."
